M.A.R-T>Y. Middleware Protocol Specification v2

Version 2 of the specification document for the M.A.R-T>Y. Middleware Protocol.

The M.A.R-T>Y. Middleware Protocol is a high-level asynchronous RPC protocol targeted at UNIX hosts. It allows for many-to-many client interactions where requests can be handled and responded to out of order. The spec document can be found below.

Note that MMP version 1 can be seen as a 'subset' of MMP version 2. They can be compatible, however new components in MMP 2 (such as variable payload count) cannot be used to talk to MMP 1 clients.

MMP version 2 has been modified with lessons from the MVP. Making the interactions between clients tighter and faster was of concern.
